Are you really just two people?
Yes, and that is the point. Illesse, our senior account manager, leads your project and is your main point of contact; Luke, our senior developer, builds it. You work directly with both — no juniors, no hand-offs, nothing outsourced.
Why isn't there a project manager?
There is — Illesse, a senior partner, manages your project from the first call to launch. What you won't find is a chain of junior project managers relaying messages back and forth. You talk directly to the two people designing and building your site, so nothing gets lost in translation.
What does a website cost?
There's no rate card — we work out what your project genuinely involves, estimate the time honestly and quote against that. It works for sole traders and small businesses just as well as for larger bespoke builds. The first conversation and the quote are always free, with no obligation.
Why are you cheaper than many agencies?
Because you're not paying for what an agency quietly adds to the bill — city-centre offices, a sales team, layers of account managers and juniors learning on your project. With two senior partners doing the actual work, your money goes into the build, not the overhead. It isn't cut corners; it's fewer people between you and the ones making your site.
Why hire Breeze over a freelancer?
A good freelancer can build you a good website. But you're relying on one person, one skill set, and whatever time they can spare around other clients. With Breeze you still get senior, hands-on people you talk to directly — plus a designer and a developer working together, proper standards and process, and support that's still there long after launch. Are you tied to a particular platform?
No. We're platform-agnostic — WordPress, Umbraco, Kentico, Shopify, a headless setup, or a fully bespoke build. We recommend what genuinely fits your project, and we'll build it from scratch when that's the right call. The same way we built the sites in our own portfolio.
How long does a project take?
Anywhere from a couple of weeks for a small site to a few months for a large bespoke build. Most fall around four to eight weeks, depending on scope and how quickly content and feedback come back.
Where are you based, and does it matter?
We're a UK-registered, remote-first studio and we work with clients wherever they are — mostly over email and video calls. Where you're based is never a problem.
What if I am not sure what I need?
That is fine — most people aren't at first. Tell us the problem and we'll give you an honest recommendation, even if that means a smaller project than you expected.
